Dr. Timothy Whaley

Dr. Whaley was raised in the rural town of Milford, Delaware. He grew up loving the outdoors and beaches of the mid-Atlantic. He attended the University of Miami and earned a bachelor of science degree in biology. Dr. Whaley then went on to attend dental school at the University of Maryland College of Dental Surgery, the first dental school in the world and currently, one of the top-ranked.

Dr. Whaley has been serving the Ellenton community for many years and has established a 5-star reputation among his patients. He loves helping people smile and looks forward to meeting you as a new patient.

Dr. Simone Wasef

Dr. Wasef believes that dentistry is an art, and she loves the impact it has on people’s lives. She studied at the Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine. She moved back to the West coast of Florida to be closer to her hometown, Clearwater, Florida. When she is not in the office caring for patients, she enjoys running and biking outdoors, working out, going to the beach, and traveling with her husband to learn about different cultures.

Bart Lakomy, DDS

Dr. Lakomy was born in Poland, and he grew up just outside of Chicago, IL. He later attended the University of Iowa, graduating with a BS in Human Physiology. Dr. Lakomy went on to attend New York University (NYU) College of Dentistry, where he earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree. He practiced outside Chicago before giving up the snowy winters for the sunshine of Florida. On most evenings, he can be found running or biking along trails. Dr. Lakomy and his wife enjoy spending time outdoors with their Labrador going on walks and hikes. Despite their busy lives, they maintain their tradition of trying a new restaurant or coffee shop around the community every week. Dr. Lakomy has long been an advocate of prioritizing preventative dental care. He often speaks to patients about being proactive with their oral health versus being reactive. “Proper maintenance is important for health and proper function.”
